Rintihan Al-Quran

Sejauh manakah abad telah berlalu? Sepantas manakah usia dimamah beku...?

 pic from Google

Untuk apa ku jadi pilihan... Seandainya sekadar ditonton segenap keindahan?? Aduhai malangnya!

Wahyu Ilahi...

walhal darah aku masih Melayu.
Siapa bilang aku lupa agamaku,
walhal jiwa aku masih pada Yang Satu.

#Day 7 – A photo of an animal you’d love to keep as a pet.

pic from Google

I once had a cat as my pet, named Shiro. However it was died because of the accident. Since that, I never kept any cat. I wish I can have one, maybe in future after I have my own house. I miss Shiro so much. Luckily I still keep a video of it..

Good bye Shiro.. :'(

#Day 6 – A song to match your mood.

I have to be a baby-sitter for a week because my aunt has some work to do and she's 'out-station'.

Mood: love towards children

Song: Raju Chacha (my cousin love this song so much even she doesn't understand the lyric)

Bum Chik Bum Bum Bum Chik Bum Bum
Raju Chacha Come Come Come

Aaye Gaye Kitne Mausam
Rasta Dekhe Hum
Welcome Raju Chacha Come Come Come

Na Police Inspector Tu
Na Koi Director Tu
Jo Bhi Hai Tu Teri Kasam
Tere Jaise Dekhe Kum
Raju Chacha Come Come Come

Sabko Tera Intezaar
Sabka Dil Hai Bekraar
Tu Sabka Sab Tere Yaar
Tere Dil Mein Pyar Hi Pyar
Yeh Duniya Hai Ek Atom Bomb
Raju Chacha Come Come Come

Din Ko Hum Na Royenge
Raat Ko Chain Se Soyenge
Sab Yeh Baat Karte Hain
Tauba Tauba Karte Hain
Bhoot Bhi Tujhse Darte Hain
Tu Aaye To Phir Kya Gham
Hum Sab Naache Cham Cham Cham
Raju Chacha Come Come Come
Raju Chacha Raju Chacha
Raju Chacha We Love You

Day 4 – Your favorite photograph of your best friend.

Bestfriend? Another part of me. Her name is Wajihah. I met her during Samrah Fashion Show and we became closed. We did share a lot of things as we were also from the same university. It's quite a long time that I didn't see her. We were so busy with our studies and modeling job. Now she has graduated from iium. I don't know whether I will be able to see her anymore. I miss her :'(

Btw, I like this picture because we both smile like a colgate-final-model-search. Hahaha. If you notice, I rarely smile in any photo. Normally fashion photography does not really encourage you to smile except when you have to shoot for the happy environment and flowery dress. Do you get what I mean? I think I look funny when I smile because I have a kind of 'gigi berlapis'. I still remembered that one of my friend said : "Gigi hang maju ke depan". Lol. Whatever it is, I'm grateful with what God gave me =)

Wajihah, may God bless you in everything that you do. Although the going gets rough, always believe that you are tough enough to make it. I love you <3

Day 3 – Your idea of the perfect first date.

Date? A date? Did you just mention about date?

Oh..I had some dates, only a few times. To be honest I never have a perfect date. I do not really have the idea of how my perfect first date will be. Erm.. Actually I prefer a simple date. I DON'T want a sweet candle light dinner at the expensive restaurant with the music background. What's the point of taking me to the expensive/5 stars restaurant? I eat a lots. For sure he needs to pay more as the food will not be enough for me! Do you really think that expensive-high-class-food taste so good? Nah. not at all. I will prefer roti canai rather than western food. Don't be so romantic. It's kinda weird when we have to control eating because we are in a date. Durh.

If it is my perfect first date, I just want him to take me to one place. I should say a beautiful peace place. I guess on top of the hill should be perfect whereby there will be no more work-to-be-think-off, neither noisy sound nor crowded people. Just close your eyes, open your arms widely, and you can feel the wind blows to you. Then we will sit on the rock and he will play some songs, specially dedicate to me with his own classic guitar. Besides us there will be a drawing book and a small note book.I wish that he knows how to draw. While he is drawing, I'll try to write some poems to be shared. Well I'm not really good in drawing but I think a simple poem wouldn't be a problem for me. Lol.

After that, we will talk everything about ourselves. I want to know him in depth. In fact, I want to know everything about him - what food he likes the most, colour, style, his past life and every single little thing in his life. I want to share mine as well. Should we call that face-to-face confrontation? Well maybe soft talk can touch hearts more. *wink*

Oh watching sunset should be awesome too! I love sunset, it looks so warm and beautiful. Don't you think so?

Emm.. I think that's all about our date. I hope that I will experience this kind of date in my future.

Okay I lied. Actually deep in my heart, I don't want any date. I don't need any loving/romantic words, any special treatment, any expensive gifts. I don't know who will be my future husband, I still didn't get any idea of who he is. So when the time comes, I just want him to be himself. I pray that he is someone who knows how to read Al-fatihah in a correct way, who knows 'hukum tajwid', who can be an Imam in all my solah, who do the pillars of Islam, who is willing to share whole of his life with me, who will love me until his last breathe. I know I may not be the best girl in the world, but I promise that I will be a good muslimah, wife and mom. Insha Allah..

p/s: People told me that Jannah is a great place. Can you bring me there too?

    #Day 2 - Your Favorite Movie

Your favorite movie?? Why not your favorite movies?? That's not fair. I love movies, not only a single movie.Grrrrrr

Hell yeah like they care. Back to the point. In this second challenge I will talk about my favorite movie. Factually, I like the action or thriller movie. I'm not really into romance or fantasy movie. I'm the person who always think and try to find the answer, so those type of movies (action/thriller/adventure) suit me well. When I watch any movie, I'll give my full attention and I really feel it (even sometimes I slept like a log).

The movie that I like the most is Armageddon. It was a 1998 film, directed by Michael Bay and it was about a group who was sent to destroy an asteroid which would hit the Earth in a short time. The cast in this movies were Bruce Willis, Ben Affleck, Liv Tyler, Bob Thornton, Will Patton, Steve Buscemi, William Fichtner, Owen Wilson, Michael Clarke Duncan, Peter Stormare, William Fichtner, Keith David, Jason Issacs, Jessica Steen and Ken Hudson Campbell.

Fyi, I'm a die-hard-fan of Bruce Willis. I have most of his movies such as Die Hard (1-4), Red, Ocean Twelves, and more. I do like Liv Tyler (the heroin) as well. I think she did a great job in The Lord Of The Ring. Why did I give 99 stars to this film? From my humble opinion, I think this movie had a great.. erm. what do we call that.. story line? story board? Whatever. But this movie is amazing! It did touch those hearts that watched it.

     before the mission started

Moreover it showed the good moral value of the relationship between father and daughter.  I still remember the dialogue before the father leaved his daughther as he willing to sacrifice his life by changing place with AJ. The daughter said:

Grace: [talking to Harry on the monitor] Daddy?
Harry: Hi Gracey. Hi honey. Grace, I know I promised you I was coming home.
    Grace: I don't under...understand.
Harry: Looks like I'm going to have to break that promise.
Grace: I.. um.. I lied to you too, when I told you I didn't wanna be like you...that's because I am like you. Everything good that I have inside of me, I have from you. I love you so much, Daddy. And I'm so proud of you, I'm so scared. So scared..
Harry: I know it, baby. But there won't be anything to be scared of soon. Gracey, I want you to know that A.J. saved us. He did. I want you to tell Chick, that I couldn't have done it without him. None of it. I want you to take care of A.J. And I wish I could be there to walk you down the aisle. But I'll... I'll look in on you from time to time, okay honey? I love you, Grace.
    Grace: I love you too..
If you were in her place, what would you feel? I'm sure you would feel the same thing. Knowing that your own father would leave you after being with you for almost 20 years for the sake of saving the world, isn't that so hurt? Luckily Grace understood their situation and had a chance to tell her father that she loved him in their last conversation. After watching this movie, I do realize how much I love my father and I try show some kind of appreciation because he means the world to me. Without him, there'll be no tomorrow for me. Same goes to you right?

The ending was as we expected. AJ came home safely and he married Grace. They lived happily ever after.

Lastly, I'm suggest that you listen to this movie's soundtrack. Aerosmith looked so adorable, don't you think so? Haha.

    #Day 1 - Your Favorite Song

Currently, I realize that I rarely listen to music. Probably because I don't have enough time for that. Frankly speaking, I'm not a person who can listen to music while studying. I can't focus two things at one time, but I can do two works at the same time. Lol.

Okay back to the topic, one of the band that I like the most is Nightwish. One of their songs that I replay for more than 99 times is The Phantom Of The Opera. This is my favorite song. If you ask me why, I can't give you the answer because I'm also don't know why. Haha. Well maybe the reason is I love the movie. I had listened to the original one for many times. So when I found out that Nightwish had sung this song in their own version, I was eager to know and to be honest I really love their new version! In fact, that was the most powerful version of Phantom of the Opera I've ever heard!

Another reason - Tarja's voice is totally awesome! Her voice is amazing. The pitch, intonation and whatever she has, make this band be in the top. Why don't you try to listen to this song too?

    The Phantom Of The Opera
    Tarja & Marco (vocals)
    [CHRISTINE:] Tarja
In sleep he sang to me - In dreams he came
That voice which calls to me - And speaks my name
And do I dream again - For now I find
The Phantom of the opera is there - Inside my mind
[PHANTOM:]Marco - Sing once again with me
    Our strange duet
My power over you - Grows stronger yet
And though you turn from me - To glance behind
The Phantom of the opera is there - Inside your mind
[CHRISTINE:] Tarja - Those who have seen your face Draw back in fear - I am the mask you wear
[PHANTOM:] Marco - It's me they hear
[TOGETHER:] Your spirit and my voice
    In one combined
The phantom of the opera is there - Inside your mind
    [CHRISTINE:] Tarja
Opera- Beware - Phantom of the opera
[PHANTOM:] Marco - In all your fantasies
You always knew - That man and mystery
[CHRISTINE:] Tarja - Were both in you
    [TOGETHER:]
And in this labyrinth - Where night is blind
The phantom of the opera is there - Inside your mind
[PHANTOM:] Marco - Sing my angel of music
[TOGETHER:] **Finale - the good stuff**
    ................................................................................
    .
    Tarja Turunen - vocals
    Emppu Vuorinen - guitar
    Marco Tapani Hietala - bass,vocals
Jukka "Julius" Nevalainen - drums, percussion
    Tuomas Holopainen - synthesizer (composer)

Second song that I love to hear is VI by October Falls. When I feel quite down or unstable, I'll click this song in my MP3. Moreover, this song remind me to my best friend who is so far from here and I won't be able to see him again. As I play this song, I can feel like he's here, standing besides me..

I think that will be enough for today. This challenge stated that "Your Favorite Song", not "Your Favorite Songs". Actually one should be enough right? So why am I giving two?

Oh just ignore about it. Have a nice day beloved followers and readers =)

    Clearance

I got my stuff last friday. The problem was I only finished/cleaned up a few things, not all. Oh I already opened two boxes of my clothes. See.

However there are 2 big boxes of clothes that I don't even open yet! I'm going crazy because of those stuff! What am I going to do with those dresses/blouses? Where should I put them? My room is full with lots of things and I don't think that there's enough space for them. Urgh. I know what you think. Yes, I'm a shopaholic.

Oww do you want to know what did they say?

Mom: If you sold your stuff out, the money that you got will be enough for your 'hantaran'.

Aunty: You should be sent to rural area. Then you will never think of buying the new cloth!

Granny: During my time, girls only wear baju kurung and kebaya. Kids nowaday don't know how to spend their money wisely. Bla bla bla...

There's something wrong with me. I need to change. Gosh, I need to throw away this habit. It is a MUST!

p/s: Guys, if you want to marry me, you better think thrice.

    Behind The Scene

As I already informed before, the shoot was held at KLCC park. I only got a few pictures from photographers as they were busy with some other works. So, let us enjoy watching this video first. Pictures will come up later.

Fyi, I'm really bad in video editing as I don't know how to mix up the voice and the song. It becomes worst when I try to edit and include something else. In the end I just use the simple movie maker to create this video. Sorry for the bad video quality and the sound as well.

    What will you do?

At last, I'm home. Yes, I'm home! It's such a great feeling to be here after a long time struggling with those assignments, research and exam.

I had to handle form 6 students in their academic camp this morning. Since I'll be an English teacher the next year, so I took this opportunity to help them in improving their English language.

From my observation, they were good in writing but when it came into speaking, they pronounced the words wrongly. Well I should say that they pronounced the word badly, until we could not even understand what they tried to say. It might be okay if they were 6-year-old students but they were already form 6! I wondered what the teacher taught them when they were in primary and secondary school. Frankly speaking, I felt so bad.. *sigh* When my friends and I did the research last month, we found out that some teachers did not give their fully attention to those who did less performance in the classroom. Teachers are the one who should motivate them, not bring them down! Wake up all teachers!

After spending time for almost a day with them, I realize that they can go further as long as we (teachers) guide them and help them in their academic. Insha Allah. When I become a teacher later, I will make sure each of my students perform better in this subject. Ameenn..

This job really affects my physical and mental as well. One thing that still lingers in my mind until now. Before I went back, one student came to me and said:

"Teacher, teacher ni lawa la. Jom datang rumah, kita tidur semalaman."

    What??!!!!!

Budak-budak sekarang memang patut kasik penampaq!

    Who are you?

If you want to discover what types of person you are, look into your stuff at the end of the semester.

    pic from Google

    Why?

    Why?

    Why?

    Check this out babe~

If 80% of your stuff are books, that's mean you are a bookworm.

If 80% of your stuff are dress and accessories, that's mean you are a shopaholic.

If 80% of your stuff are shoes, that's mean you are a shoeholic.

If 80% of your stuff are foods, that's mean you are a big momma.

    Mine?

Books = more than 3 big boxes
Dress = more than 3 big boxes
Shoes = more than 3 big boxes
Shawls = more than 3 big boxes

So which categories that I do belong to?

    Book worm? Shopaholic? Hijaby?

Pfff...I also don't know. In fact, I love all those things.

Well, you might think that I'm crazy enough.
Same goes to 'pak-cik-lori' who will take all my stuff out (to send to my hometown).

He said ; "Awak ni datang study ke bukak kedai?"

    1. Only one way. Kalau sekali dah terlepas kena pusing balik satu round. Salah satu langkah bijak untuk menghabiskan minyak kenderaan anda.

    4. Cafe-cafe yang sesuai untuk mentekedarah. Western, Middle east and Malay food, macam-macam ada.

    7. Ramai hantu jepun lawa-lawa, natural beauty tak payah make up.

    1. Lecturer baik-baik and sporting.
    2. Ade Ustaz Kabuye. Kalau tanya apa-apa soalan berkaitan agama mesti dia akan kasi jawapan bernas dengan dalil-dalil + ayat Quran+ hadith.
    4. Environment yang tenang dan sesuai untuk study.

    Dear blog,

This is my last semester in IIUM. I really enjoy my time here and I love this place so much! I was thinking of having a photo shoot in this lovely place because I wanted to keep this memories in those photos so that when I become older, I can look at them and show to my grandchildren how good this place is. Thanks to Bad for making my dream comes true. So here it goes, my life as a student in International Islamic University. It's so hard to leave this place and move to the next chapter of my life because I like to be a student rather than a worker. Haha. IIUM, I'm gonna miss you, I'm gonna miss all lecturers, students and anything related to this place. Thank God for giving me such a good opportunity to be here. Alhamdulillah, syukran ya Allah =)
